The Carbon Arch Guards are a brilliantly subtle addition, one of those that add understated ferociousness to the car’s appearance without skewing the build and elegance of the vehicles’ body. They quite evidently enhance the appearance of the wheel, but they also serve a practical purpose - they offer damage protection from stone chips and other objects you may encounter on the road, as well as protection from liquid damage such as tar. Carbon fibre in itself is strong & durable, yet also incredibly lightweight, which makes it an ideal choice for those wishing to optimise speed and reduce weight. 

The Yokohama V107 Tyres are BMW *Star rated - meaning they’ve been approved by BMW through a rigorous testing process. To receive a *Star rating, a tyre manufacturer has to undergo a collaborative testing process that can span up to 2 years, a wheel that has received this rating has been designed to ensure a BMW delivers superb handling, comfort and safety. These wheels in particular have stellar wet pavement traction, allowing you to remain steady and in control on the road - regardless of the weather. Yokohama feature their brand new tread pattern for this wheel, and the wheel has excellent high-speed capabilities. 

We had to add our own Motech Stance Springs on the M2. The ride height from factory is just wrong, and to lower it is to do right by this car and ensure it looks its very best. We went with a 35mm reduction on the front, and a 30mm reduction on the rear - this adds to the mean look of the car and pairs fantastically with the aggressive nature of the body. We paired these with genuine M4 CSL bump stops, keeping the ride smooth despite our height reductions. 

For added menace, we chose AC Schnitzer's M2 Front splitter, tailor-made to the G87 M2. Utilising ‘ASA’ (Acrylnitril-Styrol-Acrylester), this part provides weather-resistance, stiffness and incredibly high strength. The aesthetic benefit of this addition is second to none, it subtly emphasises the styling lines of the base vehicle, all while providing the body with striking new contours. However, this Front splitter doesn’t just benefit the looks, it can increase downforce by up to 60KG on the front axle compared to the standard vehicle. 

No Motech job is complete without the addition of a gorgeous spoiler, I think you’ll agree there’s just something about the look of one that gives a vehicle that fast, desirable and high-end look. We went with the AC Schnitzer G87 rear spoiler - providing enhanced downforce on the rear axle and a unmatched compatibility with this vehicle that can only come from the fact it’s been specifically designed for it. We also added a wing spoiler to the roof which is another one of those understated additions - it changes the shape and silhouette of the car ever so subtly.

Now, little might not be the right word for these additions - they finish off the look of this car and add undisputed class to the aesthetic and feel. Things like the 50th anniversary BMW badge, giving us those classic ‘M’ colours and ever so quietly warning the road of its capabilities. Inside the car, there’s an Alcantara M Performance Steering Wheel, that pairs fantastically with the M2 seats - providing a splash of colour in such a dark and fierce environment. We also removed the resonator to feel (and hear) the roar of the BMW. 

We chose to pair this car with another of its kind, in BMW’s own ’Black Sapphire’ - this car has received some similar treatment to our M2 and it’s a breathtaking sight to see the two of them together. With M-WX Wheels in our ice-cold 'Frozen Silver', it makes mighty competition for the Motech M2. It's been lowered with our very own stance springs, and the icing on top has to be the chrome tips on the blaring Remus Race OPF Back Exhaust.
